Ice Cream Fit For Your Little Prince/ Princess

So, my mind is filled with a lot of things about ice cream for two months already. Writing about the best ice cream maker for a couple of sites makes me want to crave for it more and more. And by coincidence, I actually purchased (not me, but my friends' treat though) more or less 50 pounds of ice cream just for this RAINY month! ( Thankfully my weight remains 90 pounds! hehe!) Stumbled onto this recipe and might as well share a treat to the whining baby next to you.

 How to Make Healthy Ice Cream for Your Baby
This baby seeing ice cream for the first time!

Ingredients You Need;

  • Two (2) ripe bananas, peeled and cut into chunks
  • Half (1/2) Hass avocado, pitted and cut into chunks
  • Five (5) large ripe strawberries, hulled and halved
  • One (1) teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • One-third (1/3) cup or around 3 fl.oz unsweetened coconut milk
  • Two (2) teaspoon coconut oil
Notes
  • Hass avocado is creamy and really ideal for making a healthy ice cream, but you can use the larger, Florida Avocado if you want - just note that it will be a little less creamy.
  • If you have not yet introduced your baby to strawberries and you're worried he may react to strawberries, you can use a less allergenic alternative, like blueberries instead.
  • And if your baby never had coconut before, check on articles which reveals how good this amazing fruit is for him and the many benefits of the nutritious coconut oil
Preparation could not be easier! No ice cream maker required!  Just simply place all the ingredients into a food processor and blend until it is completely smooth. Place in the freezer (in a covered container) then remove after an hour. Stir it well, then return to the freezer. Continue to stir and freeze at hourly intervals until the mixture becomes firm. Normally the  ice cream would be the ideal serving consistency after six hours. You can keep your ice cream and can last up to one month. You could also freeze it in cubes or lollitrays and serve it as a teething feeder!

Where have I been? I AM LOST!

I seriously have commitment issues! Not in human relationships but in my relationship in writing! ( though I didn't stop writing because as I remember I am paid to write) just failed blogging. So I decided I should overhaul this blog and focus it instead into one topic everyone loves... Food! I've been having a hard time thinking of different topics (my writing job is giving my mind enough reason to explode) and so making this blog focus in one topic would help me keep it and also fulfill my OCD pleasures of organizing haha!

Since the blog title is also related to it, Seven Cups of Rice would be about food, nutrition, healthy living (though eating seven cups of rice at once isn't a healthy thing to do) recipes, and it will also include food for the soul cause we all know men should not live on bread alone. So, you will hear a lot about food, food, and FOOD on the next blog posts! Till then! xo
